India.Aire Broadway
The beautiful India.Aire is making her Broadway debut in Whoopi Goldberg’s “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf”. But, sadly, India.Aire’s Broadway debut is delayed because a financial backer has backed out.
The India.Aire show is a revival of Ntozake Shange’s famous work.
Goldberg and DreamTeam Entertainment Group said it lost one of its backers yesterday and would have to reschedule the broadway show’s debut, originally set to open Sept. 8 at Circle in the Square.
No new date for “For Colored Girls …” has been given.
