The Bachelor Matt Grant doesn’t want Shayne Lamas to keep their engagement ring. Only problem – Matt Grant doesn’t want the engagement ring back himself. In fact, Matt Grant didn’t buy the ring. The Bachelor / ABC bought the engagement ring.
But Grant thinks it’s his.

So why is Matt Grant even getting 10 seconds of air time for this story? Does someone need some attention?
Grant and Lamas broke up. Yet the two keep on appearing in the press week after week. Why? Do they want another tv show?
Grant says he didn’t tell Lamas she could keep the ring. Lamas said he did. LALATE thinks its up to Lamas what she wants to do with the ring and Grant should just zip it. The ring is 2.85-carat Tacori platinum-and-diamond eternity ring. Lamas earned it, in the context of love (and yes, a reality contest format). And she deserves to keep it. She won it.
Grant thinks she doesn’t deserve to keep it and wants it to be given to charity. “Let’s have something good come out of this,” he reportedly explains to People. “Why hold onto it? What’s the point?”
And yes, the ring cost $65,000, not a penny was spent by Grant on the ring. “But at the end of the day, it was mine to give to her. And thus I’m like, ‘C’mon!’ “
