Jessica Simpson is among the celebrities appearing in Macy’s Christmas 2008 TV commercials. Simpson will shoot Macy’s Christmas commercials tomorrow with Martha Stewart, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger and Clinton Kelly.
And this may come as a surprise to you (it certainly did for LALATE) but those Macy’s Christmas commercials …. are not shot in Macy’s!Rather the commercials are shot in faux-Macy’s, replicas of the famed Manhattan midtown Department Store …. in Brooklyn.
Honestly, LALATE hopes Martha is not given the straight lines in the commercials. Martha is pretty funny, definitely funnier than Jessica Simpson. (Sorry, haven’t heard Kenneth Cole pop a joke recently, so not so sure about K.C.’s humor skills.)
