The Who VH1 Rock Honors
The Who will appear this Thursday on the VH1 rock Honors. Their concert performance was recorded last night here in Los Angeles. The Who guitarist Pete Townshend and lead singer Roger Daltry performed Saturday night at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion. The original drummer Keith Moon and bassist John Entwistle died in 1978 and 2002. Both appear in the VH1 telecast with archive footage.
Celebrity guests included David Duchovny, Mila Kunis, Rainn Wilson and Adam Sandler
“It’s an honor to honor what I consider to be the greatest band of all time,” said Jack Black to the crowd. “Wanna know why they were the greatest? Because they were the first ones to really rock hard.”
