Dara Torres Olympics!

LALATE PREDICTED IT! Dara Torres has qualified for the her fifth Olympics! Dara had a stunning victory in the 100m free to qualify for the Beijing Olympics! … And LALATE was the first to say she would make it.
Torres, who LALATE swam with as a child, qualified at age 41 because of her major win Friday in the 100m. Still up, her sprint 50m.
Torres was in the LA Olympics of 84, Seoul 88, Barcelona 92, retired, then Sydney 2000.
“I’m shocked,” said Torres. “I don’t think it’s hit me yet that I made my fifth Olympic team.”
“I was thinking about my father, who passed away a year and a half ago, thinking about my daughter,” Torres said. “I had to sit down for a minute to gather my emotions.”

“I couldn’t see the scoreboard. It was kind of blurry. They need to make the numbers bigger for people my age.”
