NEW VIDEO: Watch Amy Winehouse’s performance last night at Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Party / 46664 Concert. Winehouse performed “Rehab” and made the concert despite speculation about the singer’s ability to perform.
Amy looked short of spectacular, her best appearance in months. But so much can’t be said also about her performance. Still not good.
In recent months, producer Mark Ronson had ended his gig with Winehouse to do the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. Ronson said Winehouse wasn’t in good enough condition to record a song. Her reps denied.
Whatever is or isn’t Amy’s health condition, she looks better but she is not signing better.

I hope that the media puts a stop to broadcasting Amy Winehouse in a positive way. I can’t feel anything but contempt for her, not cleaning up her life, and continuing on a downward spiral. I don’t see how I can have a good feeling about her surprise concert for Nelson Mandela.
Do you really think that is his choice for an entertainer, a known crack smoker, to perform for him?
I like to give Mr.Mandela more credit than that.
Amy Winehouse is a poor excuse of an entertainer, and there is nothing positive to her media image. To me, this concert didn’t help either of them in a positive way.
