Verne Troyer Sues TMZ
TROYER SUES TMZ: Actor Verne Troyer has filed a tall lawsuit against TMZ over a tape that TMZ aired of him last night on its website and on TMZ television. But the lawsuit of Troyer has possibly a lot of shortcomings.
First, how was Troyer able to file a lawsuit less than 20 hours after the tape appeared, for $20 million in damages. That’s more money per hour than “Love Guru” will probably make this entire year.
Second, Troyer is seeking $20 million “claiming TMZ violated his rights by publishing and airing portions of his sex tape”, reports, TMZ. But TMZ is reporting that story tonight as “breaking”. What? TMZ didn’t even get the exclusive to its own lawsuit? Oh the irony.
Third, Troyer wasn’t the biggest story last night. What was it? It was all the hee-haw fest of the season finale of “Farmer wants a Wife”, you know, the reality show with the crop duster announcing the winner. (You have to love when a crop duster gets more attention than you.)
