Cyd Charisse Dead

Cyd Cyd Charisse, the stunning actress that led MGM musicals with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, has died. She was 86.Charisse was rushed to Los Angeles hospital Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday after a believed heart attack. She died today.
She is remembered for “Ziegfeld Follies” to “The Band Wagon” (with Astaire), stunning movie musicals from the 1940s and 1950s.
She also led a major team with husband singer Tony Martin, a 60 year marriage. In November 9, 2006, President George W. Bush presented Cyd Charisse the National Medal of the Arts and Humanities, the highest official U.S. honor available in the arts.
She will be missed.
