Tony Romo is for the first time speaking out about reports that he and Joe Simpson don’t get along and that Joe Simpson’s actions got between him and daughter Jessica Simpson.Romo issued a statement moments ago to People that shoots down those Romo rumors. People was the same magazine that ran pictures of Romo and Jessica as a couple during Ashlee Simpson’s wedding.
Romo says of all the Romo rumors “It’s all laughable.”
And about those “rumors that her father has been meddling in their nearly seven-month-old courtship,” Romo says it’s “so far from the truth.”

Widespread reports do now place Simpson and Romo dating once again. But those same reports say the couple allegedly did take a breather in their relationship several weeks ago, not confirmed by either side.
