Rodney King joins the cast of Celebrity Rehab II?
Yes, THAT Rodney King.
The man who was beaten by police officers back in 1992 joins the cast of VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab 2″ yesterday that features sober Gary Busey making appearances but with a cast of “celebrities” not as previously predicted.“Rehab 2″ features “American Idol” Season 1 finalist Nikki McKibbin, actress Tawny Kitaen, Amber Smith, Steven Adler, and Rod Stewart’s son Sean Stewart.
The show will be shot in Pasadena, CA and will follow the cast members through a 21-day program. That season will hit VH-1 this October.
Ironically, the cast for Celebrity Rehab II is not the same as what the net has been chatting about for weeks.
Why? Reportedly VH1 “has kept the names of the rehab patients a tightly guarded secret until filming began because it is difficult to predict who will show up. Hollywood madam Heidi Fliess for instance had said she was taking part in the show, but dumped out at the last minute, according to sources.” The show stars Dr. Drew Pinsky.
