Are Fantasia Barrino and boyfriend Young Dro engaged?

Online chatter today is on fire with rumor mill saying that the American Idol winner is engaged.

No word yet from Fantasia or Young Dro.

Fantasia is currently in the studio working on her third album for a late 2008 release. She reports the sound for the new album will be a blend of her musical influences including Braodway. Fantasia is reportedly working with Missy Elliott, The Underdogs and Midi Mafia, that delivered her smash “When I See U.” Fantasia is also set to appear in the film adaptation of “The Color Purple” musical.
