Dave Van Dyck CNBC Dead
Dave Van Dyck, a director at (LALATE’s favorite cable channel) CNBC, has died from cancer. Sadly he was only 39.Often in news we tend to report on only the person in front of the camera. But Dyck delivered some of the best shows on the network that LALATE has called it’s own personal coffee in the morning for many, many years.
Dyck had a long standing battle with cancer reportedly. Dyck directed “The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch” and “The Call.”
One CNBC colleague reportedly wrote the following about Dave’s passing: “Most of all he had great respect for the techs working with him. He will be missed.”
Sad. 39 is too young to die.
