Robert Mutt Lange Marie-Anne Thiébaud II
Marie-Anne Thiébaud says she did not have an affair with Robert Mutt Lange, then husband to singer Shania Twain. Maria-Anne Thiebaud will appear on newsstands tomorrow responding to allegations that she caused the split of Shania Twain from his husband of 14 years.Thiebaud is described by People Magazine as a “close friend and longtime assistant” to the couple.
Marie-Anne Thiébaud told People for their new issue Friday, “You cannot believe everything you read in the press.” And when questioned if she had an affair with Mutt Lange, Marie-Anne says “no”.
Several sources say Thiébaud started working for the couple following their move to Switzerland in 2000. People claims she acted as manager of their château.
