I really like the new CD, especially Falling, Everything I don’t need, Weightof the World. I’ve only listened a couple of times but I know this is one CD I will be playing over and over.

It is so wonderful to see Clay treated with the interest and respect he so deserves. Kudos to LaLate for doing so and playing the hillarious interview with Mo. Clay’s laugh is so infectious and don’t you just love the snarky comments about our not using the phone enough to help him win? I wish someone would make a clip of the loud laugh Clay had on the ‘claymates on the same cycle’ comment from Mo. Even the diner behind Clay at another table grinned at his laughter.

I’m torn….I, too, love all the songs on the CD, but, will go with ‘Where I Draw the Line’…Clay had me with the words…’it’s almost too perfect’….shows he is thinking with his ‘gut’…something his female fans can identify with. Absolutely love this song.

I’d love to hear Clay perform Falling or Ashes or Everything I Don’t Need.

After these my choices would be Where I Draw The Line, Weight Of The World, Grace Of G-d, Lover All Alone, The Real Me - in that order. Lover All Alone - the song Clay wrote (all the lyrics) is a masterpiece and very edgy and raw and I’d love to hear that - but I so want to see the man rock. The Real Me is alway raw and gutsy but I’d still prefer a rocking song for a live performance. Clay rocks out better than anyone. He’s so exciting and passionate.

Also in Spamalot we saw how well Clay can move…the man can shake it and it’d be great to hear him do a song like that. As for performing the single - well I think that only matters if the single is getting played on the radio alot. If not, I think it’s wiser to do a rocking song that lets people know the album is diverse and full of exciting, sexy and cool music.

So many of the reviews have reviewed a stereotype instead of the music. I’d like to hear a performance the really represents the music and shows a side of Clay that breaks the stereotypes.

I would love to hear him sing Ashes or Everything I don’t need. Its so hard to choose a song. Each song is amazing. Sacrificial love is freakin awesome. The words the emotion Clay puts into these songs are superb.

Clay will most likely be singing OMWH since it’s the single that was released, but I would love to hear him sing Ashes, or Falling or Everything I Don’t Need. I love the entire album, so I’d be happy with him singing any one of the songs. They’re all fantastic.

Oh definitely “On My Way Here”. It is a beautiful song. But if he’s going to sing a second song, I hope it is either “Ashes” or “Where I draw the Line”. But the whole album is a masterpiece. There is not one that I wouldn’t love to hear Clay sing.

I have enjoyed Clay from the beginning but can finally say I truly love his CD as well. I would love to hear Ashes, Falling or Sacrificial Love…but imagine he will have to do the single the label chose for him…..OMWH is great as well….but hopefully he can do a second and will choose one of my favorites.

I know he probably has to perform On My Way Here since it is the single but I would prefer something that people wouldn’t expect from him like Everything I Don’t Need. I love all the songs but that one sounds like a smash hit if he could sing it on tv. Are you serious that Seacrest is going to be on Kimmel the same night? YIKES!

In addition to “On My Way Here” I would love to hear him sing “Ashes.”

In reality, any song on this CD would be a great choice for tv AND/OR radio!!!!

At any rate, I’m looking forward to seeing him on Leno and the other shows he’s scheduled for. As for the CD, I love it. Every song on it is a keeper.

I would love to hear Clay sing any of the upbeat songs–Everything I Don’t Need, Ashes, Falling, but my guess is he will sing the single, On My Way Here which is a beautiful song. The voice can’t be matched, it’s one of those “one-of-a-kind” voices you instantly recognize.

On My Way Here is the title song of the album so that one is a given. After that some of my favorites are Sacrificial Love and Everything I Don’t need.

I think I need to join Susan in thinking a bit more about this.
