Pete Wentz lied about Ashlee Simpson not being pregnant. (Suprise Suprise.) Pete Wentz tries to spin why HE thinks it was okay to lie that Ashlee Simpson was not pregnant in a new statement released to MTV on Thursday in which he blaims it on reasons in which he refers to himself as a “boy” (and not a “man”). How ironic.
Wentz tells MTV News:
“Every woman, no matter who they are or what they do for a living, has the right to wait at least 3 months before sharing this very personal news. We wanted to wait until after the first trimester and get a clean bill of health from our doctors before confirming anything, just like any other couple.
“Being a boy I have no idea how to respond to such things and my first instinct was to protect her and the baby.
“It’s insane that you can’t let happy news brew in Hollywood. This wasn’t about press or anything. It was about the health of the baby and trying to find a way to be happy with what should be the most happy time of our lives in the middle of a press blitz. I apologize to anyone who felt misinformed but the truth is, the person and growing baby is who I felt most loyal to protect and defend.”
Of course, Wentz doesn’t explain why he didn’t just say “no comment” or “no comment just yet” instead of flat out giving a lie to everyone.
Wentz and his lies in many people’s eyes don’t just stop with new of Simpson’s pregnancy. News sites widely claim Wentz lied also about his honeymoon when he told radio personality Ryan Seacrest “We’re in the basement [in Los Angeles] on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees”. Simpson and Wentz were snapped hours later on a tropical beach … not in Los Angeles.
Wentz reportedly has given Simpson a bubble bee made out of legos.
Suggestion to Simpson: give a handy sign made of legos to Wentz that says “no comment”.

Are new Kurt Cobain converses a sell out? Some fans are unhappy with new Kurt Cobain inspired Converse tennis shoes. The shoes will go on sale this fall along with sneaks inspired by the Grateful Dead to celebrate Converses’ 100th anniversary.“They are the renegades of sound, the league-changers, champions of underachievement, the paint drippers and those with flawless style,” Scott Patt, Converse Global Footwear’s creative director, touted in a press release Friday.
“These pioneers follow what’s inside and do what they believe to be right.”
The Cobain Converses collection comes in three styles —Chuck Taylor All Stars, Jack Purcell and One Star.
His image is not on the sneakers. Rather, artwork and scribbles taken from his personal notebooks and lyrics from his songs. They wll range between $50 and $65.

New pictures of Chateau Miraval! The new photos of Chateau Miraval show the French home that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie moved into this week.
The couple reportedly are relocating to the chateau in France’s Provence region near Marseille. And news this weekend indicates they have already moved in.
Jolie, 32, is pregnant with twins.
Initial reports has said the couple had bought the Chateau. That appears now to be false with American owner Tom Bove remaining the Chateau’s owner. The Chateau however could become legendary on the scale of a Pixford Estate because the home is believed to be the soon permanent residence of the Jolie Pitts for several years.The estate is from the 17th century estate, featuring over 1,000 acres of forest and vineyard. They will be renting from Bove for three years and reportedly have known Bove for some time.
The Chateau is a working property and will continue to be so despite its new family, producing organice wines (see www.miraval.com)
This weekend online sources indicate that the Jolie Pitts have in fact already moved in.
The chateau is believed to feature 35 bedrooms, a lake, a pool, and a moat. Nearby celebrity homes are U2’s, the Beckhams, and Johnny Depp.

Is there a Lindsay Lohan Samantha Ronson wedding about to happen?
Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina Lohan (”Living Lohan”) was asked that very question this weekend, and you are going to surprised by Dina’s response. In recent weeks, Dina and Ali Lohan have said that Lindsay and Samantha are just friends.
But when one magazine caught up with Dina last night in New York, it asked the reality star mom about the “rumor that her daughter Lindsay Lohan is planning to wed d.j. pal Samantha Ronson.”
What did Dina say:
“If she’s happy, I’m happy,” Dina tells OK! exclusively. “That’s all I’ll say.” Dina adds, “Samantha’s great. I’ve known her and her family for ten years.”

To say that Lohan and Ronson have been attached at the hip would be an understatement. In fact, Ronson and Lohan may seem to be in the public eye just in the last few weeks due to cuddling pictures in Cannes France and a reported kiss. But the two have known each other for a long time.
If it’s true, congrats to the two. If it’s not, well it’s definitely has to be helping “Living Lohan” ratings.
