Barry Weiss replaces Clive Davis as BMG head, jumps from Zomba (Chris Brown, Britney Spears)

The ranks at music label BMG have changed.
The legend Clive Davis is out as Chairman and CEO at BMG. In: Barry Weiss.
Davis will take on the title of chief creative officer at Sony BMG. Weiss will now oversea RCA Records (Christina Aguilera), Jive, J Records, LaFace, Arista, Volcano, Verity, GospoCentric and Fo Yo Soul.
Weiss was the president and CEO of Zomba that grew Jive Records into a powerhouse with names Britney Spears, Usher, the Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, ‘N Sync, Chris Brown, T-Pain.
Davis found Whitney Houston and has been a force behind all the recent American Idols and most recently also Leona Lewis.
