A new report out of Boston today has determined that Barack Obama is a distant cousin of Brad Pitt, and Hillary Rodham Clinton is related to Angelina Jolie.

Researchers at the New England Historic Genealogical Society found something remarkable have too much time on their hands.

Hillary Clinton who is of French-Canadian descent from her mom is related Madonna, Celine Dion and Alanis Morissette.

Obama who is from a white woman from Kansas and a black man from Kenya is related to … drumroll … George W. Bush!

McCain? He’s a sixth cousin of first lady Laura Bush.

It gets even funnier!

And in true fashion, Clinton’s camp had the best quote. “You’d think with all that singing talent in the family she’d be able to carry a tune,” Clinton’s senior adviser Philippe Reines said. “But now it makes much more sense how she snagged a Grammy.” Clinton won a 1997 grammy for best spoken word Grammy in 1997 for “It Takes a Village.”

Obama is about CHANGE … but according to researchers he is related President George W. Bush and his father, George H.W. Bush, Gerald Ford, Lyndon Johnson, Harry S. Truman and James Madison … and even worse, Vice President Dick Cheney!

Pitt and Obama are ninth cousins.

Clinton and Jolie are ninth cousins.
