Joe Franics to Remain Jailed
Jail Release Denied by Reno Judge
Judge gone wild. A judge in Reno has rejected a motion to release “Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis without fear of being sent to Florida, where he faces charges for filming underage girls.
U.S. District Judge Brian Sandoval in a ruling yesterday released today said Francis will remain in Reno facing a trial on tax evasion charges.
Francis, 34, has sat in jail for about one year in a fight between feds in Nevada and state prosecutors in Florida.
Just let the man out on bail and face his charges.
I’ve met girls who’ve hung out with Joe (just as friends) several times and describe him to me as a great, charitable guy. If he did something wrong in these two cases, release him on bail and let him face his charges.
