Fans on LALATE NEWS clearly adore Chris Brown, from his amazing his talent to his great looks. Honestly, we think Brown is incredible, and could very well be the biggest act of 2008; he’s THAT good!
While some fans may dislike, and others like, the mere sight of Brown hanging out with Rihanna, a repeated comment being written by LALATE readers this week is specifically Brown’s “no industry girls” reference.
LALATE readers are referencing a 2007 interview by Brown with Vibe Magazine in which Brown reportedly said he would not date an industry girl.
Now readers on LALATE have this week been bringing up the “no industry girls” comment in their posts over and over again.

In the magazine story, Vibe asked Brown about singer Ciara “When asked about her, his face “curls up as if he’d just noticed a foul odor,” Vibe observed. “I don’t want Ciara,” Brown said. “I don’t want any industry girl.” He’d prefer a “regular girl” — that is, provided she’s also “a model.” “
Now readers are responding to this “no industry girls” comment.
Dinakah wrote yesterday, “Ok..he actually said that he wouldn’t date anyone in the industry. If he did say that he didi this for his fans, he’d be dating one of his fans right now.”
Naomy said the same ” There is alot of chance of him losing some of his fans just because he didnt kept his word (in an interview he mentioned that he doesnt want to date an industrie girl, but the thing is Riri is actually an industrie girl). So I’m not saying that I hate the fact that his dating somebody, it’s more of the fact they keep on denieing it when its pretty much obvious. “

Who gives a damn who he dates???? If they like each other, then it doesnt matter what he said b4…maybe she changed his mind!!!! Maybe she is just that special!!! And if u r that quick to jump ship because of what happens in his personal life, then u were never really a fan in the 1st place. And who the hell said that he had to date a fan??? U guys r too busy screaming and looking like star struck idiots most of the time anyway, why the hell would he get with that??? C’mon let people live!!!!

He got the right to change his damn mind if he want to. At that time he could have meant what he said but as time passes things change and feelings change too. Oh what he’s suppose to not go for it because of what he said in an interview………….PLEASE. Real and true fans would be happy for him if he’s happy. And you wanna know what’s crazy is that he said he had a crush on Rihanna a while back ago and he even said he was flirting with her at the MTV awards last year SO it really ain’t that much of a shocker! Put 2 and 2 together people!!!

Chris said no industry girls to appease, his fans, –or maybe at the time of the interview something happened to give him really strong feelings against industry girls…but then Rihanna changed them. You gotta understand outside the fame and performance people are people, and Chris may have realized not all industry girls are DIVAS. I really don’t think it’s fair to hold that comment against him now, people grow and everyone will eventually go back on something they said, intentionally or not. BTW…he’s only 18!

Okay first off.
Chris Brown shouldn’t make statements like:
” i don’t want an indstry girl ”
” i dont want to break my fans hearts by getting a girl ”
” im not gonna get married ”
Blah Blah.
Because he’s just going to seem like a hypocrite
And SECONDLY
It doesn’t matter who he dates, but it has come as a shock because he’s bascially been feeling Rihanna all this time and lying to his fans about how he wants to stay single when he knows he wants to make Rihanna his wifey.
I have to admit, they are a beautifuk couple
and look very much in love on Chris’ part.
But.
he can’t keeo being a hypocrite
No matter how small it is, he will lose fans if he continues to do so.

okay, Im a Chris Brown fan and I did know something was going on from the jump but that dont change the way a fan feels about things he says. Oh course he was gonna say they aint dating, that wouldnt be a good look, so yeah he deny it and come up with excuses about the media always hookin people up. I understand where everyone is coming from, i really like chris brown and even fantasize about him sing “with you” to me, but the truth is we dont own him. He is free as a bird. so what if he said he won’t date an industry girl in the begining, its his life and he has the choice to make the decision for himself…no body should want to control him…he can date rihanna or even ciara…its his life and its his break, let him make the most of it.

Besides the superficiality of looks, it doesn’t seem like they would have much in common. They don’t seem compatible to me at all. Not that I want to date him, but I think he would have more in common with someone who’s down to earth and can challenge him.
