Breakfast Club Movie Remake to Ruin Memory!

Plans are in the works to remake, aka ruin, one of my favorite childhood movies, the Breakfast Club.
Why do I say ruin my memory?
Let’s see … it won’t have the same cast …
… it won’t take place in a school or its library …
… it won’t even have the same name! It won’t even be called the “Breakfast Club”!
If I could take a screenplay and hit over the head of the producer of this project, I would.
“A modern-day remake of hit ’80s film The Breakfast Club, titled Bumped, is to be made. The comedy drama focuses on five twenty-somethings who become stranded at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport when their flight is bumped. Bridget Johnson will produce the film with first-timer Anna Mastra directing. Lizzy Weiss (Blue Crush) wrote the script.
“Bumped will be financed independently and sold to a studio later. John Hughes’s The Breakfast Club made a significant cultural impact – pushing Simple Minds’ theme song ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ to number one in the US charts – and was voted the best high school movie of all time by Entertainment Weekly. The original film starred Brat Packers Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy and Molly Ringwald.”
How about after the movie is made you leave it in the airport, maybe on the runway to be run over, like what this movie attempts to do to the memory of one of my most favorite films.
