P Diddy wants to change his name again. Some sites say this will be his fourth change, others say it’s his sixth. We say it’s enough.

Now he reportedly wants to be called …. Sean John.

Previous adopted names have included Puff, Puffy, Puff Daddy, P Diddy, and then Diddy, said: “I have always evolved and taken a different name each time. It’s nothing unusual where I come from. Right now I want to be Sean John because that’s where I am.”

In 2005, Combs he told the Today Show audience he switched from Puff Daddy to Diddy saying that “the P was getting between me and my fans.”

The resulted in a lawsuit by Richard “Diddy” Dearlove, a London based DJ, who threatened to sue Combs. A reported court settlement of $220,000 was agreed with Puff Daddy unable to use the name Diddy in the UK.
