A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jan Adams, Donda West’s surgeon, for failure to appear on another matter in which Adams left a sponge in his patient following surgery! OH MY GOD!

Adams just last week had been the surgeon to Kanye West’s mother Donda who died less than 48 hours later following the procedure.

lalate broke to you in a major investigation earlier this week that Adams has been the defendant in several recent cases. Now one of the cases has issued a Bench Warrant for his arrest on failure to appear, reports Huffington Post.

The Los Angeles Superior Court in San Pedro has reportedly issued a bench warrant for his arrest for failure by Adams to appear at scheduled court appearance Friday morning.

Did he forget to appear?

The warrant was issued in the Lori Ufondu case. Ufondu sued Adams in 2004 for 1/4 million dollars for leaving a sponge in her after a surgery.

Guess he forgot the sponge too!

In 2005, a judge reportedly ordered the doctor to pay Ufondu $100,000. Adams has not paid her and today’s hearing was a hearing to examine his assets. It’s getting bad, very bad.

UPDATE – He showed up (very late). The warrant has been quashed. He will appear in a hearing at 2 pm to discuss his assets to pay for a $100,000 decision against him.
