As lalate news exclusively broke online moment ago, Barry Bonds has just been indicted on perjury and obstruction of justice charges.

The all-time home run king has been slapped with a FIVE, yes, FIVE count indictment — four counts of perjury and one of obstruction of justice.

This is following reportedly the longest federal grand jury investigations in Northern California history and stems from BALCO (Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative).

The Bonds charges arise from Bonds’ Dec.4, 2003 grand jury testimony when he allegedly testified that he did not knowingly consume performance enhancing drugs.

Since then, Bonds trainer’s Greg Anderson was reportedly convicted in his own BALCO case on grand jury and currently remains in jail.

Meantime, tax charges reportedly arise from Bonds allegedly collecting but not reporting to the IRS income from memorabilia shows.
