George Osmond, father to the Osmond family, has died. He was 90 years old.

Osmond was set to tape a show with Oprah Winfrey with his family. Son Donny Osmond found out while on the set of Entertainment Tonight.

Osmond, whose wife Oliv died in 2004, are the parents of Donny, Marie, Alan, Jay, Jimmy, Merrill, Wayne, Tom and Virl.
