Tucker Chapman - Dad’s Show Yanked!
LALATE BREAKING NEWS - TUCKER CHAPMAN, AND PARENTAL HATRED OF INTERRACIAL DATING.
Word late Friday that A&E Network has yanked bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman’s show from the air indefinitely! Bravo! This is within 48 hours of the Dog making racist statements to his son over his dating an black woman.
“In evaluating the circumstances of the last few days, A&E has decided to take `Dog The Bounty Hunter’ off the network’s schedule for the foreseeable future,” the network said in a statement Friday. “We hope that Mr. Chapman continues the healing process that he has begun.”
A&E said the show has not been canceled.
As lalate reported to you first, Duane “Dog” Chapman (“Dog the Bounty Hunter,”) is still at the center of a phone conversation he had with his son, Tucker Chapman, in which he used racial slurs. The subject is the Dog’s attempt to have his son Tucker breakup with his black girlfriend Monique Shinnery. Tucker Chapman recorded the conversation then sold it to the National Enquirer.
However, what has become America’s biggest new story today is reaching deeper issues - parental hatred of children interracial dating.
Dog Chapman appologized, saying “utmost respect and aloha for black people who have suffered so much due to racial discrimination and acts of hatred.”
“I did not mean to add yet another slap in the face to an entire race of people who have brought so many gifts to this world. I am ashamed of myself and I pledge to do whatever I can to repair this damage I have caused.”
“My sincerest, heartfelt apologies go out to every person I have offended for my regrettable use of very inappropriate language. I am deeply disappointed in myself for speaking out of anger to my son and using such a hateful term in a private phone conversation.”
Do you think what Tucker Chapman’s father did can be accepted with a simple appology? Do you think a simple “I’m sorry” solves a deeper issue, hatred of children’s interracial dating?

I agree with Dog. Interracial relationships are not for me. It is an oppinion that is one I was raised with as a result of church and my family. I can tell you that I think the language was not intended to be what it has been blown up to be. How many of us say things on the phone in a private conversation that we would not want any one else to hear? We should all be aware of the fact, we do this everyday. I am not condoning his language, nor any racial slurs or implications. Interracial dating offends many of my friends of other ethncities. We have come a long way as a society, but we still have a very great distance to go. As far as Dog’s son, he was motivated by greed, and anger for being cut off by the family, and most of us who do things in the heat of the moment in anger and spite, live to regret our actions. I feel for them all. This kid- has ruined things for his family as a result of his hateful, spite. Karma is a real killer… it will likely come back to him, I just hope he is man enough to handle it all when it comes full circle. The worm always turns.
Tucker if you get a chance to read this, hindsight is 20/20. Fix this at all costs now, do not lose time over something this stupid. Nothing worthwhile is easy, so work your tail off to fix it. You lost your sister in a moment…. you know first hand life is short….. do not let a minute be wasted with your family….. take every step to make ammends and fix this! And next time be aware that recording someone without their express permission is a violation of the law….. I hope you are not on probabtion or parole…. it might send you back to the inside.

Wow…I could not disagree more. Personal choice yes, it’s what separates us from animals…being able to control oneself in anger…another thing that separates us from animals…perhaps the real lesson is that when you know you’re beliefs don’t coincide with the core of someone else…you just don’t go there period. What’s obvious is that here is a son….finally disgusted enough with his fraud father who is representing himself a certain way to the nation…and Tuckers beliefs go FAR beyond money…which they should…and do. “Out of the hearts abundance the mouth speaks…period.” And if you believe what you say you do about race and your “friends of other races” (I think that is funny) it shouldn’t matter where you use your slurs or language not meant for others to hear…you wouldn’t have to say sorry…the KKK doesn’t say sorry, neither does the House of Islam, etc…etc…if you truly believe something…there is no need care what others think or about hurting feelings….you guys need to think a little deeper…

Don’t try to sound all intellectual and concerned speaking about KARMA?? What a joke? Amen Keith. Tammy is clearly racist. I am married to a man of different ethnicity but we are of the same race, the human race. I was a HUGE fan of the Chapman family and am saddened that I cant support A&E in watching the show any longer. I guess I dont have to worry about it though because A&E is doing the right thing and yanking his show. I too believe in Karma and perhaps this is why Dog had so much trouble with the Mexican authorities. Perhaps this is why this has come to light now, because Karma is coming back to bite him in the ass for speaking so hatefully of his son’s girlfriend. In marrying my husband I was ostrasized from my family but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Tucker has nothing to be ashamed of and the only one who should be seeking remorse is D-O-G. He definitely has that name for a reason and it isnt because he has any faith in G-O-D. He should just remember who G-O-D is and who created all of us.

This is another shining example of a child getting back at a parent SELLING the PERSOSNAL conversation that was over the phone…regardless of what was said, this is yet another infringement of prying into personal conversations. Tucker should be ashamed, its not what he did to his father, look at what he has done to his family, no show, no money he did not think of anyone but himself. Dog may have been wrong, but Tucker was beneath contempt.

Not only did he say that he disapproved of his son’s choice of girlfriend but even said that his daughter would be told off if she dated a Black man. What’s even funnier is that Dog claims to be of Native American descent and marries a White woman. That’s interracial so what the hell is his problem? I’m the result of an interracial marriage between a Native American and a Caucasian. I think the most beautiful children result from interracial relationships. Dog needs to shut his pie hole.

“If Lisa brought home a black guy he would say “F—- her…Yeah!… he’s a real class act, and a great father to boot, and that’s with the racial slur aside. He should not be a role model for children or anyone for that matter, and whether he likes it or not…his fame along with his media exposure gives him that power, and responsibility to act as the role model (he has so failed at). I’m sure you and others of European decent do agree with dog. I am also sure that you feel that he’s a victim. I can’t comment on his relationship with his son…it’s clear that something’s wrong. This does not surprise me. I am 100% clear that this is what Europeans say to each even in a church which (if it’s Christian) is based on African Spirituality! Here’s the thing though if these are his feelings he should at least be honest about them…his apology should not have been made considering the non-sense it entailed. The fact that his son…from his third marriage no less…did this may be a reflection of his parenting skills. Funny what you, “a church goer” chimed in on. But that too speaks volumes. One should indeed honor thy father, however, it was assumed that fathers would be honorable.

Need it be said once more that he is a “bounty hunter” that was the focus of a television show? He wasn’t a religious preacher spewing hate of homosexuals as being responsible for the World Trace Center attacks (700 Club, etc.), or a politician. He caught criminals by means fair and fowl–end of story.

I want to personally thank Tucker!!! How often does a white son informs his father that his vocabulary is ignorant and it is time to change it. For Tammy and Tara..this isn’t about you. No one cares what you think about interracial relationships. This isn’t even about interracial relationships. The issue here is the use of a word that has been used in the past to demean black people. Angry white mobs used that word and yelled is at black “children”, as they walked into a school. That word has been used by people who did not have commense, so they would hang black people and gathered around the suffering person as some sort of entertainment.
So when that word is used today, black people are haunted by those images, and how their ancestors, and family members were treated. To black people that word is a threat to their existence. They have every right to be offended, and they have right to defend themselves when a racist people use that word.
I would say I do not think Dog Chapman is a racist. I think is just needs to make smarter decisions, and change his vocabulary.

Chapman has a GOD GIVEN RIGHT to his oppinion. The VERY PEOPLE he supposedly “offended” with ONE SIMPLE WORD use that very same word at least 3 or 4 times EVERYTIME they attempt to put words into a sentence. Chapman was totaly right in his concerns about the girl recording him JUST to get EVEN with his family for rejecting her BECAUSE HIS OWN SON ENDED UP DOING THE RECORDING FOR HER ! Funny how so many are soooo quick to pass judgement, I think that both did some things they will always regret. But I know that there isn’t a parent out there that hasen’t lost it in trying to reach their child, could Dog have used some better words sure, But his son could have not recorded the conversation. If any of you are without sin let him cast the first stone.
