Joe Francis - Roy Black joins Girls Gone Wild legal team
Joe Francis is back in the news today. A few months ago, we were on vacation in the midwest and ran into one our friends, a young girl, who befriended Francis the previous year. She had nothing but wonderful things to say about the guy and said he is really a cool kat.
Today, lawyers for Francis, the creator of Girls Gone Wild, arrived in Panama City early Wednesday morning for a court hearing. Joe is being held in Reno on federal tax evasion charges and hence wasn’t able to make the meeting. Instead, he brought his new high profile lawyer, Roy Black, out of Miami to do the one-two punch.
Black said the hearings are routine case maintenence. Black reportedly has been hired by Francis clear up his legal problems that include charges related to the filming of underage girls in nude Spring Break shower scenes back in 2003. Others include charges of introducing contraband (prescription pills) into a jail.
