In the world of bloggers who lately claim notoriety because of what negative they have to say about a star, upstart lalate news bucked the trend this week and did something different; it mobilized fan support behind a star.
Amid the release of a nude picture online of High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, lalate told fans to support Hudgens and be prepared to turn their back on Disney if Disney chose to recast Hudgens’ role for HSM3.
Before the pic scandal this week, lalate news had been for fans of HSM their goto news source, devoting more positive news coverage of Hudgens and costars like boyfriend Zac Efron than other news sources.
When the pic scandal broke Thursday night, hours before its event at LAX Hollywood, lalate news quickly saw the type of response heating up its news site from readers.
Readers were ready to stand behind Hudgens and were ready to tell Disney they wouldn’t watch a third HSM without Hudgens.
Stacey said “i don’t think she should be fired.. tbh. she’s only human afterall. goddd.”
KB said it even better. “HSM3 will not make it without her. I will protest Disney and HSM if they fire her.Yes, V should have known better. They may have been for Zac’s eyes only but nowadays, nothing ever stays private. But the point is that everyone who loves HSM loves Vanessa and the moive definately will not be sucessful without her. i am NOT going to be supportive. It says the picture was sent to Drake Bell a few years ago. She could get arrested or who ever took the pic could because she was underage. I dont see how a teenager who is in kids movies should be supported on her choice to become a porn star, because no matter how unintentional, she is now a porn star, and that WILL ruin her career as child star. i agree with LL hidayah. She made one mistake, everyone makes mistakes.
