Vanessa Hudgens - FIRED from Disney?! Has High School Musical Cast Gone up in Flames?!
If this is true, we think it’s an outrage by Disney!
Tonight Thursday night there are claims that US Weekly is reporting Vanessa Hudgens, who did not cause her own naked picture to be leaked online, has been FIRED by Disney and will be replaced for the upcoming High School Musical! (If you’ve not seen that picture, click here for that story.)
Of course, reports had already indicated that Hudgens nor costar/boyfriend Zac Efron had yet signed to do a 3rd installment because of salary disputes with Disney.
So with Efron’s girlfriend possibly fired and replaced do you think Zac will star in HSM3 opposite another girl? Dream on! Without Hudgens and Efron, Disney might as well not make a 3rd installment at all.
But, there is more to this twist!
While there is no statement yet from Disney, lalate news can exclusively report the source of the firing story is also now in question. Sites are stating this report of Hudgens being fired is from US Weekly. However, as of tonight, we cannot find a direct posting of this quote anywhere on a US Weekly website or through US Weekly. We will update you as developments unfold.
Websites are claiming the following is a direct quote from US Weekly:
“Due to the recent scandal of “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens’ naked photo scandal, Execs at Disney have parted ways with the star and have decided to replace her with “Cheetah Girls” star Adrienne Bailon.
The decision came just hours after the scandal became public and got to the offices at Disney. Says insiders, “It was an extremely hard decision to do. Vanessa has become apart of the family, but we felt it was irresponsible of her to do what she did.”
It has now been announced that Bailon, star of another hugely successful Disney franchise “The Cheetah Girls” will replace Hudgens in the role of Gabriella, Zac Efron’s love interest in the upcoming “High School Musical 3?. Both Hudgens and Bailon’s reps denied a comment, as well as the reps for Disney.

if they are going to fire her then they need to do a round up and fire a bunch of these actors. the male actor that played one of Raven’s friends was caught drunk and got a DUI. I believe she should be held accountable for her actions. She knew there was a possiblity of them getting out just by making them, and now she should have to face the responsiblity of it. She wants to act like an adult take the punishment like an adult.

Sure as if Hudgens would ever get fired from The Disney Channel! Her and Efron have a connection that is so powerful that HSM would be like a dragqueen at a Music Festival without Hudgens. The only way she would get fired is if she was insulting everyone in the cast crew, in which this case will never happen! She is very close to her friends on the cast. Especially her best friend who is also in HSM as Gabriella’s arch enemy Sharpay played by Tisdale.
