Singer Usher’s wedding to Tameka Foster will happen, says Usher to Us Weekly.

“As of right now we don’t have a date but we will let you know when we do,” he says.

Us reports the wedding was cancelled for a pregnancy scare, not for other reasons widely reported last week. On Friday, 4-month pregnant Foster who is ten years older than Usher was admitted to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City after suffering cramping.  “Everybody’s fine. Tameka and the baby are fine,” Usher tells Us. Tameka herself chimed in, saying, “We’re good. We’re all doing great now.”

Britney Spear’s “meltdown” according to OK Magazine during its photoshoot was the most read news story on lalate news this week. How close did Lindsay Lohan come? Not even close!

Usher and his pregnant fiance, Tameka Foster, have called off their wedding, scheduled for today.

Publicist Patti Webster said today: “It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond, IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected.”

Foster has three other children from a previous marriage. This would be the couple’s first child together. No word whether they are still engaged or a couple.

UPDATE 8/5/07: The two have finally wed … according to reports inside a law firm. Details still developing.
