into its third country

The world’s largest nightlife site is getting even bigger. Industry leader http://www.lalate.com, which celebrates the release of its 200th newsletter this week, announced today its expanding into its third country, Canada. Canada joins the United States and England in the list of countries that lalate now services.
More young adults in America turn to lalate.com than any other source for vip nightlife, and now lalate tips its hat as being the only company to have service in three countries worldwide. Among its offerings, lalate uses a subscription service that gets clubgoers into now nearly nine dozen events per week.
The growth of lalate in four years has been short of amazing.
When it first published its initial newsletter around August 27, 2002, some of the listed parties included a Jay Mohr Party, the Opening Ceremonies Party for the Los Angeles Brazilian Festival, a Bill Maher party, and an Island Eyes Calendar Models party. Back in 2002, the company was called LALate.com and only serviced the Los Angeles market.
Today, now called lalate (pronounced “la” Late) is in three countries, virtually every major U.S. market, with two offices, a celebrity clientele, and an opening retail store (yet another first for the industry). Its 200th newsletter last week featured B.E.D. nightclub in South Beach, events from Long Island to the New Jersey covered the entire tristate New York area, the #1 venue in Vegas Tao, a free guestlist for Pure and Tangerine for December 30, and that doesn’t even include Los Angeles. This and next week in Los Angeles lalate is carrying parties in Los Angeles that include the Sunset Standard Hotel, Spider Room, Spider Room afterhours, a Jay Z recording artist party, a Madonna release party, Mood, a hotspot visited the previous week by Laurence Fishbourne and the cast of Laguna Beach, a fashion event in Manhattan Beach, a daytime party in Malibu that Britney and Kevin appeared at recently, Tommy Lee’s Rokbar, and Day After LA’s top venue both two nights of the week. At that’s just some of lalate’s events.
The Canadian expansion of lalate that will involve carrying events in Toronto starting this week is part of an overal expansion of the entertainment company since summer this year. Later this month, lalate will launch the net’s newest and most advanced free ticketing website providing the lowest processing fee in the industry, at a fraction of what other companies charge, that lalate promises will showcase ticketing in a new proprietary format never seen online.
